There will be several Norwegian lineups at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival on June 25 – July 4. Are you interested in knowing who the Norwegian artists are?
The Vancouver International Jazz Festival has provided local, national and international musicians with a chance to express themselves with jazzy rhythms for 25 years now.
The festival is British Colombia’s biggest and most acclaimed music festival. Paul de Barros from The Seattle Times expressed it nicely when he wrote that “if this isn’t the best jazz festival in the world, please send us tickets to a better one.”
For ten days Vancouver will be changed by a rich variety of jazz, blues, funk, Latin, fusion, electronica and world music.
The program is yet to be released on April 29. We happen to know, however, that among the 1,800 musicians from Canada and the rest of the world there will be Norwegians contributing to the festival’s richness.
