The Norwegian Embassy is happy to announce that we will once again participate at the Governor General's Winter Celebration, Saturday January 28th.
We welcome you to experience traditional Nordic winter activities that are fun for the whole family. In addition to dog sledding, Ice Skating, skiing and Snow Shoeing, the Embassy of Finland will offer you the opportunity to try Kick Sledding, the Embassy of Sweden will host Bandy at the skating rink, the Embassy of Norway will have their multi- person long skis and the Embassy of the Netherlands will showcase Dutch skates. Traditional snacks and drinks will be served.
Rideau Hall will also be open for public tours at 3:00pm-5:00pm.
Free parking will be available at the National Research Council (100 Sussex Drive, a 10-minute walk from Rideau Hall), and on the streets in the surrounding neighborhood. Limited parking for mobility-impaired guests will be available on the grounds via Princess Gate.
